DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nWe are delighted to announce that Professor David Miller 
 has agreed to speak in Bath. David is a prominent advocate of freedom of s
 peech on Palestinian issues\, recently winning a major judgement that affi
 rmed the rights for academics to debate Israeli policy and ideology.\n\nIn
  a significant triumph\, Rahman Lowe\, the legal representative for Profes
 sor David Miller\, announced a landmark decision on Monday 5th February 20
 24 in one of the most closely monitored Employment Tribunal cases of 2023-
 2024. Prof. Miller successfully claimed discrimination based on his philos
 ophical belief that Zionism is inherently racist\, imperialist\, and colon
 ial\, a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010\, alongside a
  finding of unfair dismissal. This judgment establishes for the first time
  ever that criticising the Israeli Zionist project is protected in the wor
 kplace.\n\nDavid Miller will talk about the legal case and the implication
