Covid calamities, job losses, the cost of living crisis, health cuts, racial injustices, and the climate emergency – to get through all these we need to work together.
Bath Campaigns is an activist, grassroots organisation that seeks to network with and promote campaigning groups across the city whose values, goals and methods align with ours. Bath Campaigns fights for the interests of residents and for the long-term health and vitality of the city of Bath and its surrounding areas.
Values and Goals
• We are not politically aligned with any party and campaign for policies and actions that benefit people, not corporations; that hold the powerful accountable, not the powerless.
• We believe that Social Justice and Climate Justice are inextricable bound up – you can’t have one without the other!
• We believe that workplace and community campaigning together for social and climate justice will be far more effective than separate groups working independently.
• We want a city and future in keeping with people’s needs and aim to give the people of Bath a stronger voice in making this happen.
Together We Are Stronger
We are working to network across the city providing a shared platform for campaigns, resources and communications. We will share information, skills, audiences and resources. No need to fight in isolation: the impact of single campaigns is increased by supporting each other.
